The information complies with article 13 of legislative decree no. 196/2003 regarding protection of personal details, our site is structured so that, in general, you can visit it without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Responsibility for data handling The body responsible for handling personal data is U.T.R.I. S.p.A., with head office in via del Follatoio, 12, 34147 Trieste, Italy. The person in charge of data handling is the head of the Marketing & Sales department. How we collect information When you browse the U.T.R.I. web site, you do so anonymously. Your personal information - including your e-mail address - is not collected. Your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) and domain are logged to have an idea of which parts of our web site you are visiting and how much time you are spending there. We do not link your IP address to anything personal to make you identifiable. The only other information automatically provided is the type of computer and operating system you are using. This information is supplied to us by your browser. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistics on the use of the site, and to check that it is working properly. Sending emails to the addresses shown or when you are requested to volountarly supply your personal information, including your name, company name, company address, e-mail address, reason of the request and personal postal address, for purposes such as access to reserved areas, correspondence, e-mail registration, or participating in an online survey, leads to the acquisition of the senders’ address, data and/or personal informations provided. Once you provide such information you can be assured that it will only be used to support your customer relationship with U.T.R.I. Except for navigation data, users are free to provide or not provide personal details in their contacts with U.T.R.I. in order to request material, access to reserved areas or other communications. However, not providing such information may make it impossible to meet the request. We do not market to children and do not solicit data from them. No information should be submitted to, or posted at, the Eurotech web site by visitors under 18 years of age without the consent of their parents. Use of cookies No personal information about users is deliberately acquired by the website. Cookies are not used to transmit data of a personal type, nor are persistent cookies of any type used - in other words, systems for tracing users. The use of what are known as session cookies (not memorised permanently on the user's computer since they vanish when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (made up of random numbers generated by the server) required to make site navigation secure and efficient. The session cookies used on the website make it possible to avoid using other computer techniques (which might compromise the user's privacy during website navigation) and do not allow acquisition of personal data identifying the user. Users' rights The people to whom the personal data refer are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data with the body responsible for data handling, and to find out the content and the origin, to check the exactness of the data or to request integration or updating or rectification (article 7 of Decree no. 196 of 2003). Any requests should be sent to the head of the Marketing & Sales department at the U.T.R.I. head office, where the updated list of other people in charge is available for consultation.
